Myriam Phiro’ Bio

Myriam Phiro is an internationally recognized French-Canadian actress, jazz singer, dancer, and cabaret chanteuse. As a performer, she has graced world-renowned stages such as Birdland, Joe’s Pub, the Rainbow Room, Feinstein’s/54 Below, and the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City, as well as the Montreal International Jazz Festival and Montreux Jazz Festival. She is also the lead singer and founder of Nuage Rhythm, Jolie Môme & The Phirocious Swing Orchestra.

In parallel to her performing career, Myriam is the founder of Phirocious Productions, an entertainment agency specializing in immersive, themed live experiences that transport audiences into another world. Through the agency, she curates, directs, and produces bespoke events that blend music, theater, and atmosphere, further extending her artistry beyond the stage.

Throughout her career, she has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Frank Vignola, Vince Giordano, Gene Bertoncini, Freddy Cole, and Brian Newman, in addition to opening for Harry Connick Jr., collaborating with Nicki Parrott, and receiving mentorship from Marilyn Maye and Bill Zeffiro. With the recent success of her productions Becoming Marlene Dietrich and PHIRO chante PIAF, she has earned a reputation in New York City’s cabaret scene as both a performer and director.

Her debut jazz album Voyages, released in 2015 to critical acclaim, earned her nominations for both a MAC Award and a Hot Jazz Award. In the studio, she has worked as a songwriter, backup vocalist, vocal harmony arranger, and had the honor of recording a duet with her vocal hero, Janis Siegel of The Manhattan Transfer.
