Let the Birthday Week commence!

Hello friends!

I hope your 2024 is off to an amazing start! On my end, I’m happy to report that things are pretty busy already and the year ahead is looking up! My French/gypsy Jazz band Nuage Rhythm & I closed out 2023 and brought in 2024 at Rampoldi, where we ate the most amazing Coquilles Saint-Jacques, made music with people we love and had a wonderful time sharing the stage with DJDoit! What a way to bring in the new year!

2024 didn’t *exactly* start with a bang but those who know me will certainly not be surprised to hear that I’ve still got many logs in the fire, of which I’m hoping to share their evolution very soon. In the meantime, I’d like to cordially invite you to my Birthday Week Shenanigans in NYC! Indeed, this Aquarius gal will be celebrating with music & style, and she’ll be so honored to have you join her on 2 occasions:

-Feb 5th @ The Back Room Speakeasy w/ the Phirocious Swing Orchestra. Adorn your best vintage attire on and come delight yourself w/ a libation, our 5-piece band in my favorite authentic, original & still standing Speakeasy. The band will play between 9pm-12.30am & the dance floor will be hot! Can’t wait!

-Feb 10th @ Foxtail w/ Nuage Rhythm Trio. While you hide away and indulge in a fanciful whimsy w/ one of the mixologist’s delicious craft cocktails, our band will serenade you w/ some French Jazz, Swing & Bossa Nova tunes in a swanky setting between 8.30-11.30pm. Ooh la la!

I’m very excited as this week will not only feature amazing musical moments, but I’m also going to take a mini-trip upstate to enjoy some hiking in nature, which will nourish my soul. Upon our return to the city, Elias & I will finally get to see Hadestown on Broadway (my own bday gift to myself!), which I’ve been meaning to do for SUCH. A. LONG. TIME. Can’t wait!

In closing, a lot of you have been asking me about my Marlene Dietrich Tribute and I’m excited to let you know that some things are in the works for 2024-2025, so please stay tuned! I’m actively looking into putting a tour together so if you know of a venue where you think the show would be a good fit, please let me know!
