“PHIRO chante PIAF” returns to Birdland on Oct 17th!

Hello friends!

The last few days of Summer are upon us and I hope you’ve been enjoying every moment! I have some amazing news to share and would be honored if you’d accept my invitation:)

After a year-long hiatus due to Covid, I’m beyond ecstatic to announce my return to the world-famous Birdland! Please save the date, as it would mean the world to me if you could join my long standing trio & I on October 17th, 8.30pm at one of my favorite places to perform! For the occasion, I’ll take you on a journey through the decadent and spellbinding world of Edith Piaf, my greatest inspiration in becoming a performer. I’ll be accompanied by Hyuna Park (piano & accordion) and Elias Bailey (upright bass), aka my musical dream team!

Following sold out performances at Birdland and Joe’s Pub, as well as great demand for my most recent album “PHIRO chante PIAF”, the evening will feature select songs from our tribute CD, captivating untold stories about the icon with special guests including grammy-award winner Linus Wyrsch on the clarinet. By using Piaf’s timeless songs the likes of “La Vie En Rose”, “Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien” & “Under Paris Skies” to retell Piaf’s captivating life, as well as a selection of other well known French numbers, I hope to dazzle and entice audiences by recreating the atmosphere of the Parisian nightclubs and cabarets of yesteryear we’ve all been dreaming of. Yes, it’s time to “dazzle”!

So if you’re dreaming of celebrating all things French, and hope to recreate an evening reminiscent of the Parisian cabarets of 1940’s and 1950’s, please join us for our first NYC performance after a long and dark year. Get your tickets for the best cabaret show in New York on October 17th, 8.30pm at Birdland theater and let’s get ready for our musical rendez-vous! I can’t wait to share beautiful moments of storytelling & music in the company of NYC’s finest musicians and bask in French Jazz galore with you, at long last!

A bientôt, j’espère! Xx
