An invitation to celebrate the return of live music TOGETHER!

Hi there! Are you feeling the 2021 love?! I am so happy to say that I am, finally, and let me tell you how refreshing it feels!

After a year and some change of going through a whole gamut of emotions, including the scary thought that live music’s comeback was nothing but a fool’s dream, I can finally announce to the world that I am BACK in business and boy does that feel GREAT! Indeed, I’ve been getting steady requests to book my 2 Jazz bands for events of all sorts and I am quite ok with that! It’s quite astonishing how it is actually happening but you know what: I. Am. Ready. We, as a collective, are ready! Any festivity anyone may want to bring forth: we've got the soundtrack to suit any mood: Nuage Rhythm will set the tone for a French/gypsy Jazz & bossa nova elegant party and The Phirocious Swing Orchestra will bring the SWING! to any celebrations! Guaranteed :)

Perhaps this resurgence is akin to what happened during the roaring 20’s and we are experiencing a #roaring20scomeback?! Well, it would make sense, historically speaking. And you know what, I have absolutely no complaint about it. If we can somehow make it to the point that things get to a sense of “normalcy” again and if people want to splurge and go all out entertainment-wise because they’ve been starved from it for a year and a half, I can totally get behind that. TOTALLY. No, seriously; I cannot begin to tell you how I’ve been transformed by experiencing people’s reaction to live music after a year of hardships. It is a truly unique and special experience that I cherish and if anything, I’m simply honored to be able to bring such positivity into people’s lives.

So I’d like to invite you to celebrate with me on June 24th at the rescheduled “Winter Blues Jazz Festival” opening night, calling to be one of the best live music event in Virginia this June. I’ll be leading my Swingband; the “Phirocious Swing Orchestra” to kick off the 4-day festivities and the weekend’s lineup will feature some of the best Jazz bands in VA and NY. Seriously, it’s going to be amazing! The postponed event, now rescheduled from June 24-27, truly brings the promise of a very eventful Summer, full of music and moments spent in good company and vows to have “a little something for everyone.”

I’ve been waiting for something like that to happen for so long I just cannot believe it’s actually happening! On St-Jean-Baptiste Day (Québec National Day), no less!
