Please support "Becoming Marlene Dietrich": The CD!
Hello friend,
As you may have heard/read, I’m about to embark on a new and exciting venture aboard the infamous German built, American registered Marlene Dietrich ship! Indeed, I’m about to record a CD based on my most recent show “Becoming Marlene Dietrich”, in tribute to her legacy. The album is being funded through our IndieGogo campaign, which is key to making it happen. Please take a look at the wonderful perks & read the story behind the project! Your support is so important, particularly for independent artists like myself :)
Being raised by several fierce and strong female role models, I always look for ways to honor society‘s trail blazers. While preparing for the show, which premiered at Birdland last month, I fell in love with Marlene Dietrich's performances as an actress. While researching I began to delve into her extraordinary and fascinating life, filled with amazing achievements of all sorts. I strive to recognize and honor her countless contributions to women's rights and sexual freedoms as well as her crusade against fascism in this project.
Although some may not know the specifics, there is no modern female artist that isn't resting on the precedent Marlene Dietrich established in the 1930's. Her story deserves to be told. Will you please be a part of it? Click HERE to view the campaign.
Thank you in advance for your support! I look forward to sharing this exciting and important project to worldwide audiences thanks to you :)
In the meantime, here is the show’s EPK, which was filmed during our premiere at Birdland last month by the wonderful Mariana Meraz. Please feel free to share <3
I look forward to hearing your thoughts! I am truly excited for this new voyage celebrating an icon that genuinely resonates with me, and sharing her fascinating story with countless others. Please don’t forget to check out and endorse our CD recording’s IndieGogo campaign, which in turn will help make all of this possible! Thank you again for your love and support. It really takes a village and I’m so thankful to have you be a part of it. I look forward to serenading you in person in the near future! A bientôt Xx
