Hello friends!
I hope you’ve all had a reflective Memorial Day weekend with friends and family. With summer upon our doorsteps and all the fun activities at our fingertips (watch out for a lot of camping, hiking, cycling & “naturing” upcoming content, hehe!), I’m also eager to share an update on my professional venture. Firstly, some of you may know it has been made official: Phirocious Productions is now the official umbrella under which I operate. My business has officially been registered in NYC, yay!
Alright, but what does that mean exactly? In reality, not much has changed… yet. Any client looking for a premier French/gypsy Jazz & Bossa Nova band can hire Nuage Rhythm for worldly & elegant musical services and anyone interested in traveling back in time on the sounds of a vintage Swing band playing Big band/swing era music can still do so with the Phirocious Swing Orchestra. The only real difference now lies in the operational side of things: I now own an LLC.
Well, some may argue that owning a business as a female entrepreneur is a considerable achievement, for which I am proud indeed! Eventually, though, I have even greater plans. My ultimate goal is not only to offer customized live music packages to whoever fancies real state-of-the-art entertainment services BUT also to transform their request into comprehensive bespoke event stylings.
But what does that even mean? Well, here comes the fun part. In the 10+ years I’ve been involved in the “event entertainment” business, I often came across clients who wished to design a sophisticated musical ambiance, yes, but they were also looking to curate a full-themed experience. It got me thinking… Most people who hire a specialized niche band (such as mine), want to be immersed in that theme. And as a very theatrical person myself, I can relate! In fact, I LIVE for this kind of concept. I, therefore, want to customize each person's event by creating a complete experience that aligns with their desired atmosphere. I will carefully select vendors, decorations, music, and entertainment to bring their unique vision to life and make it a completely immersive experience. There it is; I’ve put it in the universe; the first step is done!
Of course, the drawing board is still a canvas, and there’s quite a bit more that will go into making it all happen but it feels so motivating to have a greater goal in sight. And I truly believe I will succeed at this! Through the years, as I’ve been working on establishing myself as a go-to niche entertainer, I have also been building my preferred vendor list, adding to my clientele resource, all while satisfying countless customers. With my background as a producer, actor & director, I have not only acquired the ability to bring a project to fruition successfully; I understand the importance of a creative vision, the steps to breathe life into its full potential, while also recognizing the constraints of working within a budget.
